Festivals and events relaunch the tourism in Italy |
The chairman of ENIT (Umberto Paolucci) has underlined the importance of Festival and cultural events in the italian tourism context. The events can become one of the most attractive components of our tourist offer, and can potentiate the international promotions regarding the italian destinations.
Umberto Paolucci, said this at the seminar The art voyage and the art of traveling, which offered an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between culture and tourism. Launched in 2005 through the collaboration of Astoi and ItaliaFestival, the project aims at promoting festivals as a whole of art, culture and local folklore. From this year, eight major festivals are added to to packets offered in their catalogs from three tour operators which market Destination Italy abroad.
Festivals in Italy are often world renowned and are decisive to diversify itineraries offered to visitors and which guarantees to travelers a strong cultural and emotional experience. |
